The study of Warangal District of Andhra Pradesh is quite significant, for it is the advanced urban district of backward Telangana region. The vo lume is divided into three parts. Part Il consists of politics of pressure groups, political parties and election analysis and voting behaviour. The part played by political leadership and linkage politics is dealt in Part III.
