This volume attempts to explain how multinational organizations operate. It is a collection of eight original essays which examine multinational activities directed toward economic, social, and scientific concerns. Each of the first seven essays discusses a specific area of multinational activity, including such topics as international administration of space exploration, uses of the oceans, the International Monetary Fund and developing coun tries, and a study of UNESCO. The last essay looks at international admin istration from a behavioral science viewpoint. The book is designed for use in college courses on international organizations.
