"Magic, Divination and Witchcraft among the Borotse of Northern Rhodesia"
- California University of california 1963

It's an examination of the magical system of this area of Africa. I really don't remember much of it except for the section on the Kaliloze Hunters. These were members of magical society that employed magical "guns" to inflict harm on their enemies. This type of magical practice has been found in nearly every culture in the world. I found this group particularly fascinating because of the amalgamation of magic with gun culture. I don't believe that it developed to this advanced a level in any other culture.
