Sumitra Pal started her career as lecturer of Economics in University of Delhi. Since then, she has come a long way in the academic as well as corporate worlds. Associated as faculty with various business schools of national and international repute, she has in addition, worked as an economist with various multinational companies. She has published a number of research papers, presented in prestigious seminars and conferences and has co-authored two books, Business Economics and Consumer Behaviour - An Indian Perspective. She currently works with the American Express and is based in Toronto.
