Tract on money/by Rabindra Nath Mitra and Himansu Roy
- Calcutta World Press 1958
- 195 p.
There are a few excellent text-books on monetary economics. As teachers of some experience, we feel that most of the books are intended for advanced students. The present book is an attempt to explain the essence of modern monetary theories to the beginners in an easily comprehensible manner. We have, however, covered a wide field of discussion on monetary theories and tried to include the most modern views and observations on different theories. We have also added our critical notes on some of them.
Although primarily designed for students, the book, we hope, will be of some service to intelligent laymen as well as to those practical economists and statists who like to have a fair groun ding in theoretical monetary economics.
