This book is the collection of learned papers submitted by participants in the LXII Session of the All India Annual Commerce Conference, 1988, held at Ranchi.
The papers have been contributed by eminent teachers and academics from Universities and Colleges all over the country on topics dealing with diverse problems of entrepreneurial develop ment in the country ranging from regional problems to the issues con fronting the business houses operating countrywide.

Role of banking institutions, financial institutions and importance of insti tutions to provide logistic support to the development of entrepreneurs in India have been presented in proper perspective with suggestions to over come the existing impediment, for the state to base its policies and programmes to expedite the development of entrepreneurship.
