The book Research Methodology: Methods and Techniques is comprised of five units. Each Unit contains number of chapters and is designed keeping in view of the needs of the scholars.
Unit - 1 deals with meaning, nature and scope of research, etc.
Unit - 2 includes various steps for the formulation of a research proposal, sources for the identification of problem, strategies for literature review, delineating and operational definition of variables, research questions or hypotheses, etc.
Unit - 3 deals the development, construction and standardization of various tests, questionnaire, scales, and observation, interview, socio-metric technique, etc.
Unit - 4 includes Qualitative Research Methods such as Ethnographic Method, Phenomenological Method, Grounded Theory, Historical Method, Field Studies, and Mixed Method of Research, etc.
Unit - 5 deals with classification of data (i.e., metric and non-metric data, univariate, bivariate and multivariate); descriptive and inferential statistics for the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.
