President in the Indian constitution
- New delhi Deep & Deep 1985
- 188p.
This book deals with the role of the president under the Indian Constitution. All the books written on the president so far have not distinguished between the powers of the president on the one hand and that of the president aided and advised by his council of ministers on the other. Hence the need for this book.
The book breaks away from a purely descriptive approach to the powers and functions of the president and attempts to show how things work and how they ought to work.
