India's national security and foreign policy - New Delhi A. B. C. Publishing House 1987 - 233p.

It is ironical that there are very few comprehensive research studies on India's national security and foreign policy in spite of the growing importance and proliferation of security studies in India and abroad. In as much as this book attempts a macro study of
the challenges to India's national security at the global, regional and contiguous levels in the aftermath of the Sino-Indian conflict of 1962, identifies and attaches importance to the internal components of the concept of national security, an aspect often verlooked and lays stresson foreign policy and defence preparedness as means of preservation and promotion of national security, it hopes to fill a gap in academic analysis.
