Organization and retrieval of economic knowledge - London Macmillan Press 1977 - 520p.

The physical and the cost problems of organizing and then retrieving economics material has long worried the economic
and library professions; now with the 'information explosion revolution', the problem has assumed imminent disaster proportions. In 1975 a conference on these problems was held at the Institut fur Weltwirtschaft in Kiel, West Germany,
where 26 papers, prepared by economists, data retrieval specialists, and librarians were presented and thoroughly discussed.
This volume is organized in four parts.
Each paper is preceded by a brief abstract
and is followed by a summary record of
the ensuing debate and discussion.
