<br/><br/> Has the foreign aid panacea failed to work? Why is disenchantment with the very philosophy of aid growing? There are more poor in the world now than ever before. Despite aid, developing countries are still saddled with innumerable bottlenecks, breakdowns and failures of the economic structure. Why is our aid-dependence increasing and becoming perpetual? Is there a way out? An attempt has been made in this study to answer some of these questions.
