Industrial development by. its very nature, creates oppurtunities for enterprise of almost every size. With the advancement of technology, there often arise situations in which there can be competition between small and large undertakings which, in view of the advantages of scale available to the latter, can shut off the development of the small-scale sector. This is particularly so, if employment generation in the small-scale sector is of a much larger magnitude, production for production.
