A collection of articles by Soviet and foreign journalists and Sinologists which analyses Chinese expansionism through a critical study of Chinese propaganda in the sphere of foreign policy and a discussion of the militarily aggressive and deliberately provocative actions taken by the Peking leadership in pursuit of its ends: the staging of frontier incidents, the encouragement of internal dissension and separatist tendencies in neighbouring states, and the exploitation of international tensions. Certain of the contributions to this general-interest book have been abridged.
