- Delhi National 1971
- 439 p.
This case-book presents factual descriptions of a broad range of industrial relations issues. It can be used as a text for a variety of graduate and post-graduate courses and short term training programmes. The cases have been grouped into five parts for convenience :
Part I-Problems due to Rise of Trade Unions
Part II-Problems in Personnel Administration
Part III-Problems in Union-Management Relations Part IV-Problems Arising out of Change
Part V-Problems in Worker-Participation.
Each case is an attempt to represent a situation, a chunk of reality from actual life which contains many diverse elements and processes which are made more complex by the operation of various forces in the environment as well as the framework of law and government policies. In view of such complexities, an interdisciplinary approach and understanding of the various forces operating in the environment are necessary to attempt a meaningful analysis which aids the learning process.
