The structure of Government .
- London Longmans. 1967
- 242 p.
A sound knowledge of the workings of government in Britain is neces- sary or desirable in a wide range of cases. This book aims at providing in a reasonably short compass most of the required information in a read- able style. In addition, it incorporates comment designed to stimulate discussion, and also suitable questions. It should provide a sound foundation for students taking papers in British Constitution for the General Certificate of Education and similar examinations. It is equally suitable for students of professional examinations, including D.M.A., I.M.T.A., R.I.C.S. and similar bodies. I should like to thank Arthur Crouchley, C.B.E., for invaluable advice and comments, Norman Bradberry for assistance in checking the proofs, and my publishers for their encouragement.
