There are no two opinions that India is passing through an unprecedented crisis, constant denials of the ruling party not withstanding. The central theme of this book is that it is no ordinary crisis; it is a death rattle in the throat of a dying system. The most ironic aspect of the crisis is that both the people and warning. This is simply not true as I have tried to argue here.
