Summary: Late Lala Jagdalpuri ji was a renowned litterateur of Bastar and Chhattisgarh state. After his death on 14 August 2013, many of his unpublished manuscripts were left in his room. We are feeling deeply satisfied after completing the work of compilation and editing of those rare and invaluable works and handing over this book to the readers. The research work done by Lala Ji on Bastar is an invaluable legacy in the form of his works. I am happy to inform you that, after a long gap, the task of searching, preserving and presenting all his unpublished and here and there published poetic manuscripts as much as possible in the form of books has been completed by his nephew Vinay Kumar Srivastava. Apart from poetry, prose, research, various folk literature, history-culture and translation in Hindi, he has also written a lot of poems, songs, ghazals, short poems, kshanikas, muktaks and couplets in regional languages. He also had a deep interest in children's literature.
