Annihilation of Caste is an undelivered speech written in 1936 by B. R. Ambedkar, an Indian writer, activist, politician who fought against the country’s concept of untouchability. Untouchables By Dr BR Ambedkar The Untouchables is a great work of Dr . B.R. Ambedkar . In the beginning itself he mentions Indo - Aryan society differentiating two people namely Indo or Hindu and Aryan that is followers for Manu Smriti the Brahmins . The Native Hindu Civilization and VI deshi Brahmin Aryan Vikruti admixture was the subject of his book where Native people are treated as Untouchables. He finds that Untouchables were first Native Tribes and aboriginal . He agrees to the concept of Videshi Brahmin invasion of Hindo or Hindustan by Videshi Brahmin Aryans . The words found like Dravid , Dasa , Nag also relates to Native people. However , for untouchable he believes that it is creation post Buddhist period and Buddhist and those continued Beef eating were the main reasons of for this . His genesis of origin of Untouchable looks convincing yet the problem of Videshi Brahmin Aryans is not only a problem of Untouchable alone but whole Non Brahmins as Hindus they suffered a lot under Varn and Caste system. The present book is an interpretation of Ambedkar’s beliefs on origin of caste and untouchability and their effects on native Indians called shudra.
