This book elaborates the pioneer work on Didayis, a primitive Tribal Group of Orissa leading a semi-nomadic life within the hill range of Kondakamberu and valley of Machhkund river in an inaccessible Eastern Ghat of Malkangiri District after the construction of the Balimela Hydro Electric Project when the Didayi land was submerged under the water which consequently resulted in the migration of people into so-called as plain, hilltop and cut off sectors. It also describes regarding the establishment of a Micro Project in the name of Didayi Development Agency since 1986 for undertaking various development programes.
