| Summary, etc. | This book grows out of a conference on "Canada's Tomorrow" held in Quebec on November 13 and 14, 1953. That stimulating gathering, attended by nearly three hundred representative Canadians, was an experiment in national self-examination and in sober prophecy. If forecast was in the end subordinated to analysis, there was substantial gain, since insubstantial prophecy might be dismissed as visionary. |
